Who we are
Pacific Coast Realty is a real estate office at 1012 2nd Street, Eureka, CA 95501, serving Humboldt County (CA DRE #02097352). You can reach us through the contact form on this site or by phone at 707-839-9658. This policy applies to this website and the information we handle through it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send a message through our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, what you are looking to do, and your message. We use it to respond to you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser, device, and the pages you request. If you use the listing search, your search terms are processed to show you results.
How we use your information
We use it to answer your questions, help you buy or sell property, follow up by phone or email about your inquiry, keep normal business records, and keep the site working. We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the office and this site, such as our website host and form-handling provider, and where the law requires it. If you ask us to help with a transaction, we share what is needed with the people involved in it, such as the other party's agent, escrow, title and lenders. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us. To make a request, use the contact form or call the office, and we will respond as the law requires. Real estate brokers are required to keep certain transaction records for a set period, so some records cannot be deleted on request.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, reach us through the contact form or by phone, and we will verify and respond as required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep the business and licensing records we are required to keep, then dispose of it. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page.
